Prayer Concerns
There are many ways in which are lives are connected. Honoring these connections is one of the ways we continue to form deeper relationships within this community of faith.
Within our faith community:
· We pray for those who aren’t able to join us in worship due to their current health limitations including: Margie Petry, Gene Snyder and Louise Miller.
· Those Deacons we lift in prayer: Ernie Barr, Francis Barr, Liz Hoffman Bauer, Ann Beattie, Angilee Beery and Chris Beery.
· Art Hunn recovering at home following a mild heart attack this past Tuesday, Feb. 14.
· Sarah Hall on the death of her grandfather, Gerald Kauffman early Thursday morning, February 16. Services were this weekend in Pennsylvania.
In the wider community:
· We pray for our sister church in El Salvador, Emmanuel Baptist. Sunday Emmanuel celebrated 20 baptisms with more 5 people joining as a member by experience. This is a real feast of faith and hope. Emmanuel is moving into a moment in which the priorities for youth and children are giving them new opportunities of testimony and ministry.
· We pray for peace.

Manchester Early Learning Center
In mid-January, the members of the Board of Directors of the Manchester Early Learning Center learned that the Center's washing machine had quit working. The Center is on a tight budget and could not afford the cost of a new one, so employees were taking home six or seven loads of laundry to do each evening. The Center's director did not know that the Executive Board of the Manchester Church of the Brethren had decided in December that one half of the proceeds of the Christmas Card Fund would go the Early Learning Center. As luck, or fate, or divine intervention would have it, the check for the Center, which totaled $599.00, was delivered to the Early Learning Center in the midst of this crises - it nearly covered the cost of a new washing machine. The Church received a warm letter of thanks from the Early Learning Center.
